Quick Start: Meeting OneMira

Getting OneMira set up isn't like configuring a smart home gadget-it feels more like waking up a new pet. Forget complicated pairing modes or buried settings menus. The goal here is to get from the box to your first "whoa" moment in less than 5 minutes.

The Unboxing

When you pull OneMira out of the box, you'll immediately notice the weight of the base and the smooth articulation of the motors. It feels premium, but it's completely silent.

Here is exactly what you need to do:

  1. Find its spot: Pick a permanent home on your desk. Ideally, somewhere it has a clear line of sight to you and your keyboard.
  2. Plug it in: Connect the included USB-C cable to the base and plug the adapter into the wall.
  3. Wait for the stretch: This is the best part. Within a few seconds of receiving power, OneMira will run a quick self-calibration. It physically "stretches" its neck, pans around the room, and the LED eye will blink to life.

Getting Online

Once it's awake, OneMira needs Wi-Fi to actually be smart.

  1. Grab your phone and download the OneMira App.
  2. Open the app and create an account.
  3. The app will automatically detect your lamp via Bluetooth. Just tap it, enter your home Wi-Fi password, and hand it over.

That's literally it. There's no QR code scanning, no weird button combinations. The eye will pulse blue while connecting, and turn a solid warm white when it's online and ready to listen.

Your First Interaction

Now that it's online, let's test the microphone and response time (spoiler: it's fast).

Just say out loud: "Hey Mira, I'm working now."

Watch what happens. It won't just turn on a light. It will physically adjust its posture, angle the light perfectly onto your desk avoiding your eyes, and drop into Focus Mode.
